• The Hotel Allegro in Chicago offers an overnight package called "The Allegro Quickie" that features champagne, a bowl of fresh strawberries and a large can of whipped cream. • Kauai, the northernmost island in Hawaii, has always been known as a romantic destination, said Susan Kanoho, executive director of the Kauai Visitors Bureau.
  
  "Each hotel has done it’s own little thing-–whether it’s a massage on the beach or rose petals on the bed–it’s amazing," she said.
  
  Each of the Hawaiian islands has its own message. Kanoho said Kauai’s message is romance, golf and natural beauty. • Las Vegas probably is best-known for unusual weddings. Recently, the spangled desert city celebrated its 3 millionth wedding. The milestone, complete with Vegas showgirls, was reached at the Imperial Palace’s wedding chapel. Clark County Recorder of Deeds, Judy Vandever, has recorded as many as 400 to 500 marriages in one day, according to the Las Vegas "Review-Journal."
  
  For the really adventurous, Viva Las Vegas Villas, a remodeled 32-room hotel in the older part of town, offers 10 themed rooms, including a gothic room replete with headstone headboards and a coffin bathtub.
