Heres a sample of other romantic getaways, just in time for Valentines Day.
- The Hotel Allegro in Chicago offers an overnight package called "The Allegro Quickie" that features champagne, a bowl of fresh strawberries and a large can of whipped cream. Rates for standard room are $169 or $219 for a Jacuzzi suite. The hotel, located at 171 W. Randolph St., boasts an unusual ambiance celebrating Chicagos musical and theatrical heritage. - Kauai, the northernmost island in Hawaii, has always been known as a romantic destination, said Susan Kanoho, executive director of the Kauai Visitors Bureau.
"Each hotel has done its own little thing-whether its a massage on the beach or rose petals on the bedits amazing," she said.

- Las Vegas probably is best-known for unusual weddings. Recently, the spangled desert city celebrated its 3 millionth wedding. The milestone, complete with Vegas showgirls, was reached at the Imperial Palaces wedding chapel. Clark County Recorder of Deeds, Judy Vandever, has recorded as many as 400 to 500 marriages in one day, according to the Las Vegas "Review-Journal."
For the really adventurous, Viva Las Vegas Villas, a remodeled 32-room hotel in the older part of town, offers 10 themed rooms, including a gothic room replete with headstone headboards and a coffin bathtub.
